The NHTSA has announced that Chicco is recalling over 11,000 child car seats due to a potential safety hazard. The recall affects the Chicco MyFit and MyFit Zip Air car seats, which were manufactured between April 2015 and January 2020. According to the NHTSA, the affected car seats may have a faulty harness that can cause the seat to malfunction in the event of a crash. This can increase the risk of injury or ejection of the child from the seat.
